Travel Itinerary
DAY 1: ARRIVAL – MAKASSAR – CITY TOUR
Upon arrival at Hasanuddin Airport, our driver and guide will pick you up. After meeting services, transfer to hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a short city tour visiting Fort Rotterdam, Paotere Harbor, and Losari Beach for sunset. Overnight in Makassar city.
DAY 2: MAKASSAR – TANA BERU – TANJUNG BIRA
After breakfast, drive to Bira. Visit Tana Beru, the center of Phinisi boat building. Stop at Bira's point ZERO. In the afternoon, transfer to hotel. Stay overnight in Bira. (Breakfast, Lunch Included)
DAY 3: LIUKANG FOR SNORKELING
After breakfast, take an island trip to Liukang or Ara for snorkeling by local boat (approx 30 min). Lunch will be made on the island. If you've had enough island touring, return to hotel and overnight in Bira. (Breakfast Included)
DAY 4: BIRA FREE PROGRAM
Free time to enjoy Bira's beautiful beaches and relax. (Breakfast Included)
DAY 5: TANJUNG BIRA – SENGKANG
Transfer to Sengkang. Visit Lake Tempe with floating houses. Lake tour by motorized canoe, visiting fishing families and enjoying their hospitality. Cross the lake and enjoy sunset from the boat. Overnight Sengkang city. (Breakfast, Lunch Included)
DAY 6: SENGKANG – TORAJA LAND
Continue trip to Toraja. The drive takes 6 hours through mountain areas with beautiful landscapes. Stop at Bamba Puang for coffee break while enjoying Mount Kabobong views. Afternoon arrival in Toraja. Overnight in Rantepao city. (Breakfast, Lunch Included)
DAY 7: MEET TORAJA (TORAJA CULTURE TOUR)
Full day Toraja tour. Visit Traditional market in Rantepao, LEMO (stone graves in rock wall), KAMBIRA (baby grave in living tree), TAMPANG ALLO (natural cave with ancient coffins), SUAYA (king grave and wooden statues). Lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon hiking through countryside with traditional houses. (Breakfast Included)
DAY 8: MEET TORAJA (TORAJA CULTURE AND NATURE TOUR)
Visit KE'TE KESU village with finest Tongkonan (traditional houses), BORI (megalithic stones), drive to TINIMBAYO for rice field views, short hiking to Toraja villages. Lunch at local nature restaurant. Afternoon arrive at Batutumonga, the highest point with spectacular views. (Breakfast Included)
DAY 9: HIKING DOWN HILL TO MEETING POINT
After breakfast, continue short hike down to Tikala villages where driver will wait for lunch. After lunch, return to hotel. (Breakfast Included)
DAY 10: TORAJA – TENTENA
Drive to Central Sulawesi through mountain passes. Descend to seaside village of Palopo for lunch. Ascend to Central Plateau, reach Pendolo on south side of crystalline Poso Lake. Drive to Tentena village. Overnight Tentena. (Breakfast Included)
DAY 11: TENTENA TOUR TO SALUOPA WATERFALL AND BALINESE VILLAGE
Half day tour visiting Saluopa waterfall (twelve steps) and Balinese village. Rest of the day enjoy the beautiful lake, swimming allowed. (Breakfast Included)
DAY 12: TENTENA – AMPANA
Drive on North Road along beautiful Tomini Bay coast. Reach Ampana around midday. Overnight at Hotel Oasis or Marina. (Breakfast Included)
DAY 13: AMPANA – TOGIAN ISLAND
Take public boat to Togian island. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Included)
DAY 14: TOGIAN ISLAND
Enjoy Togian Islands with diving, snorkeling, and beach activities. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Included)
DAY 15: TOGIAN ISLAND
Continue enjoying Togian Islands with marine activities and relaxation. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Included)
DAY 16: TOGIAN ISLAND
Final day in Togian Islands for water activities and beach time. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Included)
DAY 17: TOGIAN ISLAND BACK TO AMPANA – PALU
Leave Togian island and return to Ampana. Driver will take you to Palu (8 hours drive). Afternoon arrive in Palu, overnight in Palu. (Breakfast Included)
DAY 18: PALU FREE DAY
Free day to explore Palu or relax. Overnight in Palu. (Breakfast Included)
DAY 19: HOTEL – TO PALU AIRPORT
Transfer to Palu airport for your flight to next destination. (Breakfast Included)
